WASTECARE™: Industrial waste-certified as skincare
Skincare Serum
AIZOME
WASTECARE™: the first skincare product that is industrial wastewater from textile dyeing. Taken from the factory, the wastewater is stabilized with citric acid and certified for use. Packaged like a beauty product, it was shipped out to key opinion leaders in fashion and healthcare to form partnerships. All materials used are recyclable and reinforced for shipping. The dot-and-line design system is rooted in biochemistry, which provides a neutral canvas for the brand’s story. The custom type combines ultrasound with Mincho, reflecting both tradition and science. The usage of colors is informed by the ultrasonic plant-based dyeing process.
