Stroemfeld / Roter Stern

Publishers exhibition

As a symbol for the diverse changes of “Stroemfeld / Roter Stern” publisher, the lines of a “scattered star” organize the exhibition space, leading the visitors through the different thematically clusters of literature. The lines become walls that dissolve into patterns of black wooden sheets, giving each book a frame for an outstanding presentation and mediating between the dimensions of the books and the exhibition space. Translucent banners with handwritten notes from the publisher’s authors relate to the facsimile editions. Glass cases with the history of this extraordinary publishing house complete the exhibition.
