SKIN U is a body care brand that delivers a delicate and smooth sensation. Prior to designing a new scrub, we recognized competitors' dominant market presence with high-viscosity Jar scrubs. We found that water infiltration and product contamination were major issues caused by frequent scooping scrub with wet hands. Even using a spatula, hygiene and maintenance issues also arose. To differentiate and gain an advantage, we devised an innovative pre-filling method using a bowl-like lid design. This simple routine change minimized moisture influx, enabling users to use our non-degraded product to the end, thereby promoting sustainability.
