Mechanical column scale with dial and BMI display
The sturdy impression and formal independence of the old, archetypal dial scale has been transmitted into the modern age with new materials and a highly transparent dial. The precision of the materials used, the harmonious integration and modular intelligence of the column put this scale on a new, timeless level. The seca 756/seca 755 is the first mechanical scale which displays the BMI. When the patient steps on the scale, a BMI disc of contrasting colour is set in motion below the weight display in the dial. It is visible in a small window next to which a height scale is printed. Once the weight has been determined, it is easy to read the BMI range which, with contrasting colours, is split up into underweight, normal and overweight as well as adiposity. A flat tread area and an optional height rod are further advantages.
