Magazine

Rosenthal GmbH

To celebrate the 100th birthday of the visionary entrepreneur Philip Rosenthal the Rosenthal GmbH made together with MILCH+HONIG designkultur a nearly 200-pages anniversary magazine as hard cover book in oversize. One chapter on the realization of a Walter Gropius bet finds itself as special eye-catcher on the cover. A porcelain plate fully decorated in gold attached to the title. Aside three solid colors, a colorful happy birthday folder or truncated pages and a photo story by Joachim Baldauf enrich the liveliness of the magazine that comes in a protective box of the same materials.

iF Gold Statement

Before opening the book, you see a nicely made porcelain sitting on the cover. It is eye-catching and makes you want to open it. The book balances the history and tradition of the brand with a very modern design. It tells the story from the early beginnings up until now (and into the future).
