nomad is a new independent magazine published by hw.design, subtitled “The Magazine for New Design Culture, Business Affairs and Contemporary Lifestyle.” It offers a multifocal perspective on design by viewing it within the context of society, the economy, lifestyle and culture and asking how it relates to future trends. nomad does not consider design with a focus on the object but instead people and their circumstances: these people are, after all. The elegant minimalism of the shop design reflects this intention. The magazine typography is replicated on the website.
