KARE : Mobile Clinic Module
Mobile clinic module
KAISTIn a pandemic situation like COVID-19, the demand for negative pressure wards has dramatically increased. It is possible to rapidly build an isolation ward by combining air tents, functional panels, and a negative pressure frame designed by KARE MCM. The modular design addresses the requirements of functionality, cost, and efficiency. In addition, it supports the emotional needs of patients, medical staff and other stakeholders of the pandemic crisis. The unique airflow structure guarantees bio-safety while maintaining the pressure differences between hot, warm and cold zones in the ward. Thanks to the use of air tents, the whole ward can be shipped by airplane in an emergency.
