Closed IV catheter with multi-access blood control. For healthcare worker safety – offering the highest level of needlestick injury protection. For process efficiency – allowing user to stay in control throughout the entire procedure. Patient safety – minimizing IV complications and improving patient comfort. To make sure that needle injuries for the user are impossible, a safety mechanism is included. Once locked, the safety mechanism stays locked. It covers the needle tip after use, automatically. The design is based on the B. Braun Corporate Product Design (CPD) for all single use products.
