Gangnam street public media ART program
Urban landscape renewal by building a new media
Gangnam-gu office
The existing aging Gangnam media pole was arranged only as a heavy sculpture in the form of landscape lighting. The 18 media poles, which are newly renewed, are LED screens on triangular pillars and provide a continuous view of content on both sidewalks and driveways. The form of the new media pole covered with a wide digital screen has relieved the frustration of the sight of pedestrians compared to the existing ones. In addition, a public program was planned to create a beautiful urban nightscape and a cultural and artistic street by linking with large media located around the media pole, in Gangnam-dearo.
