The DualSense Edge wireless controller retains all the functions and ergonomics of the previous wireless controller but comes with new features for enhancing the user’s gameplay. These include customizable parts to fit one’s hand size or playstyle, personalized control profiles, adjustable trigger lengths and mappable back buttons to help increase input speed, an Fn button that can be used to quickly adjust audio and switch profiles directly from the controller, replaceable stick modules, a USB cable with a lockable connector housing, and an ability to switch between the game and settings screen seamlessly to efficiently optimize the profile.
