BILLY - 30 Jahre
Book
IKEA Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG30 years of Billy by IKEA; a simple iconic bookcase. An archetype symbolizing the movement of a generation away from the traditional way of life of their parents and towards a more flexible, ready-made living environment. For IKEA and the publisher Zweitausendeins we designed an anniversary book, which, like the corporate philosophy itself, consists of separate parts for children and adults. The editorial collaboration of Jan Teunen and Nina Puri along with illustrations by Dorine de Vos and photographs by Martin Grothmaak has resulted in an interdisciplinary book critical, with design-oriented approach and family-friendly entertainment.
