Richard Sapper

Prof. Richard Sapper (* 30 May 1932 in Munich; † 31 December 2015) studied philosophy, anatomy, mechanical engineering and business administration before working at the Daimler-Benz styling department. He held a variety of positions, among others at Fiat in Italy, and became closely involved in the Milan Triennial. Since 1980 he was consultant on product design for the IBM Corporation worldwide.
