Stefan Diez

German industrial designer Stefan Diez (born 1971) established his own design studio in 2003 in Munich. Stefan focuses on product and exhibition design and works with clients such as Authentics, e15, Gandia Blasco, Emu, Hay, Rosenthal, Thonet and Wilkhahn. Perfect craftsmanship is his guiding principle. His designs are not so much created at the drawing board as they are in working directly with materials. From 2007 to 2014, Stefan was a professor at the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design. He graduated in industrial design from the Stuttgart State Academy of Art and Design. His work has received numerous awards and has been shown in many exhibitions.
