In parallel with the permanent exhibition in Tauberbischofsheim, a “digital “classroom” has been designed to represent a cultural history of school. A wide range of historical photographs, drawings and film documents explain the development of the classroom from the end of the 19th century down to the present day. The user discovers innovations within the school system and gains insight into the collaborations of pioneering designers of the last 100 years. Single exhibits and architectural models are accessible interactively and unfold the texture of the respective time through a 360° view.
