Book

Basheer Graphic Books

This publication is special because it is Singapore’s first ever set of illustrated children’s storybook that comes with a parents’ companion archive of artisanal masters and crafts. It embraces an immersive, shared parent-child reading experience. The reading companion allows parents to understand the tradition crafts better so they can engage the values of those voices and share them with their children while reading the storybook. The reading companion also acts as a documentation of the fading traditional crafts. In addition, children can have an English or a Chinese storybook, by flipping on either side of the storybook.
