SUMMIT BAR is both a whiskey bar and a cafe. It is open to customers day and night, and thus the top priority of the bar owner is lighting. During the day, natural light acts as the light source for the cafe, whilst at night the interior acquires a more entertaining atmosphere through artificial lighting, symbolized by the opening of the revolving wooden door leading to the bar. This revolving door marks the shift between day and night. Through the half-covered grille, the interplay of light and shade in the SUMMIT BAR shifts the atmosphere to one of mystery and possibility.
