Branding

kakaopay

kakaopay, a subsidary of the Korean IT giant kakao corporation, is a Fintech company providing diverse financial services from online and offline payments and money transfer to investments. On their first day at kakaopay, new hires receive an onboarding kit detailing the corporate culture and philosophy. The kit presents 9 different stationaries including a wrinkly and old notebook, which symbolizes cash that will soon disappear as digital financial services pick up. Messages with slogans such as "Think new" and "Bye, old" transmit the concept of letting go of old technologies while accepting new ones. The onboarding kit generates a sense of pride in kakaopay’s vision to new employees.
