Itaú UnibancoA redesign project for Itaú’s logotype, one of Brazil’s largest banks, with a rich history in national design. While the brief explored both subtle updates and complete transformations of the existing logo, the final direction favored measured refinement over dramatic change. The process involved extensive collaboration with the Itaú team, generating over 80 different paths, and culminated in a thoughtfully crafted iteration that respected the brand’s heritage. The logotype has a humanist construction, with terminals that flow smoothly and open counters that provide great legibility at small sizes.
