Insulin intake device

InsuPad® is a non-invasive medical device for type 1 and type 2 diabetics to improve the therapy with bolus insulin. InsuPad® enhances insulin uptake by warming precisely the injection area after the insulin injection. Clinical studies have shown that using InsuPad® you need approximately 28% less bolus insulin. Additionally, there is a reduction of postprandial hypoglycemic events on an average of 45% with achieving at the same time excellent normoglycemic blood glucose levels. InsuPad® can be put on by a biocompatible adhesive tape to the body. The unit is water-proof and can be worn all day including e.g. under a shower.
