Growth is a dynamic process rather than a specific moment. To answer this challenge, the designers developed a magnetic mattress suitable for young school children, even as they grow. The mattress consists of soft and hard bridging support layers, magnetic particle-matrix layers, and functional textile layer composites. The bright and colorful appearance appeals to the young user group. Upgrades to the foaming technology meant the mattress could have two sides: a hard side for better protection of the spine and a soft side so that older children can sleep more comfortably. The design is light and foldable to be used in a variety of student environments.
