Haemophilia is a rare blood disorder. Patients can suffer from bleeding events that can result in serious complications like joint damage and high level of pain, especially when they have no access to treatment. The severe nature of this disease can lead to high levels of distress for patients and their families, with an accompanying high burden of treatment regimen. The digital medical device florio HAEMO is developed to support people with haemophilia and their health care professionals (HCPs) in managing this disease. It provides insights based on real-time data and consists of an app for patients and a dashboard for HCPs.
