Low-floor tram

Bombardier Transportation

Berlin Public Transport Services (BVG) has ordered the 100% low-floor tram FLEXITY Berlin for the modernization of its entire tram fleet. The progressive vehicle concept was developed together with by BVG and will be delivered in four different configurations. A vehicle width of 2.4 m provides a generous passenger area with ideal use of space. Multifunctional areas offer lots of room for pushchairs, wheelchairs and bicycles. Expanded double doors and lowered entrances allow enhanced accessibility (barrier free) for every passenger. The innovative cockpit ensures outstanding working conditions for the drivers.
