"The new collection of lamps, entitled “E2H: Earth to Humanity”, from Portuguese lighting specialists Vista Alegre is an astonishing achievement in porcelain lighting. For this series, Vista Alegre partnered with visionary British designer Ross Lovegrove, who is known for challenging the limits of materials and putting technology at the service of man. The unique feature of this collection is the size of the lamps, in translucent porcelain. It’s extremely difficult to create such a large porcelain structure that is thin enough to be translucent. The use of customized LEDs makes the very most of the lamp."
