In China, more than 200 million parcels are processed in sorting centers every day. Workers in warehouses sort using express sheet numbers (e.g., S16783). Standing and glaring at the parcels with numbers moving past them for 10 hours a day causes varicose veins, dizziness, and depression, leading to a high turnover rate. This new system applies IOT technology to visualize the code using color identification, significantly decreasing workers’ cognitive loads. Sorters only need to identify five colors to improve efficiency. This system makes work easier, making workers happier and healthier.
