AURORA H1000

Fire hydrant with fluid-driving lighting

When fighting fires, firemen often come across buildings whose lights cannot be switched on because the fire has disrupted the power supply. The AURORA H1000 fire hydrant combines a lighting technology driven by liquid with the nozzle. When the water flow is turned on, it powers turbine blades to create electricity. This lights up a high brightness LED, providing the scene of the fire with additional light, increasing the safety of the firemen and boosting their fire fighting efficiency. Furthermore, the light beam points the way towards the rescue workers for people escaping the fire.
